Make your own slideshow at Animoto.
Making my first Animoto video was pretty easy and interesting because it is something new to learn. I kind of want to make more of these because it is kind of fun. My video is about showing people where i was born and raised.Thursday, February 21, 2013
Image Summary
The photograph “Jerusalem and elsewhere” depicts a man that got arrested by Israeli police in east Jerusalem. It was taken on February 13th 2013. During this time residents called for the release of Samer al-Issawi, a Palestinian who is on a hunger strike in an Israeli jail. In the image, the artist tries to inform people what is happening on other parts of the world. This is evident in the part that says “A Palestinian was detained by the Israeli police in east Jerusalem”. This explains that he is informing. This piece is significant because it informs you on interesting things that are happening. On the whole, this image is interesting because it is something that doesn’t happen everyday.

The film ‘8’ by Acim Vasic takes place in a snowy forest. During this time 2011 A soldier crashed in a snowy forest and a different soldier saw him crash. The film tells the story of 2 soldiers who were against each other because 1 soldier crashed and the other one was trying to hunt him down and kill him. At first soldier 1 crashed in a snowy forest, and soldier 2 wanted to kill him so he started following him. Then, Soldier 2 realized that he was following him so he ran away. After that soldier 2 found him and pointed a gun at him, he didn’t realize that he was stepping on a landmine, so soldier 1 grabbed his gun and ran away. In the end soldier 2 threw a knife at him and got him, so he turned around and took a few steps and stepped on a landmine. On the whole, this film was very interesting and intense because you didn’t know what was going to happen.
